CBD derived from hemp and that follows regulations determined by the 2018 Farm Bill now allows CBD to be removed from the illegal listing of Schedule 1 substances.

The parameters for CBD to be considered legal have been outlined as follows:

1. Must adhere to state and federal laws

2. Hemp products must contain less than 0.3% THC

3. Must be grown by a licensed grower and adhere to agriculture restrictions.

Furthermore, hemp-derived CBD products are allowed to be transported across state lines with the above stipulations.
